Tia Raymond, MD, is a board certified pediatrician and pediatric cardiologist by the American Board of Pediatrics, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Pepperdine University, and received her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School (UTSW). She completed her internship and residency in pediatrics at Children’s Medical Center Dallas, and her pediatric cardiology fellowship at Texas Children’s Hospital/Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. Following her cardiology fellowship, she completed training in pediatric cardiac intensive care at Texas Children’s Hospital.
Prior to moving to Medical City Children’s Hospital in 2008, Dr. Raymond was an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at UTSW/Children’s Medical Center in the division of pediatric cardiology and pediatric critical care. Since relocating to Medical City Children’s Hospital, she has participated on many committees, including the Pediatric Performance Improvement Committee, the Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Committee, and the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Committee.
Dr. Raymond has expertise in pediatric cardiac critical care, including cardiac transplantation and ventricular assist devices.
Dr. Raymond is married and has two young children. She is a Dallas native, and has been living in North Texas since 2003. When away from practice she enjoys spending time with her family, and loves playing golf, running, and biking.
